It has been so much fun to learn about nonficiton books. In writing, we learned how to write How-To-Books. We thought about different things that we were experts on, then we picked one to write about. We had to think of a few things:- The Title
- What we needed
- The steps
- and one of the best parts, the WARNING!
The kids wrote amazing books. They taught their friends how to draw butterflies, draw an alien, make a paper plane, make pancakes, make a peanut butter sandwich, how to throw a football and much more. Soon they will be taking these books home. We then chose one piece to "fancy it up". We shared out books in our class and toasted to great ideas, clear steps, and good detailed drawings.
