Sam's Long Weekend

Last Thursday, I spent a very fun day bike-riding with my family. My Dad rode on his big red bike and Mom had an orange and black colored bike. My bike is the same blue color as my brother Ben's. It was very fun because this is the first time we were able to ride together as a family for quite a long distance. Mom braked and used her bike to stop my Ben who was going too fast and he crashed into Mom but was not hurt. My Mom was ok too just a little bruise. The next day, we watched the movie SHORTS and I don't like it much but it was silly because all the kids were fighting over a magic stone. We saw Oscar and Noah and his Mom and Dad there too. Then we went to the SkateBoard Park at Somerset. It was too hot so we went to the Esplanade tunnel where I played tag and a new game with my brother and my Dad. Dad says we could try to push each other out of an imaginary square because we used water bottles to mark the lines. It was very fun, I won 10 out of 10. Then on Saturday I went for my violin lesson and my teacher was very happy that I could play well and hold my bow correct. He said I could practise pizzicato for this week. On Sunday, I got to paint my pottery bowls which I made last week. It was very fun and the teachers helped me to choose some colors. I get to bring my bowls home next week and best of all, Mommy says I could go back again to play with clay and make things if I want to, yeah! We had dinner at a tapas restaurant and after that I got to watch a DVD called Hookwinked.

Hello Sam,

What a fun and busy weekend! I'm glad noone got hurt while riding the bikes. I did not know you had violin lessons. I would love to listen to you play it one day. Maybe we can have a "talent show" in our class, and everyone could show off their talents.

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

Cheers,
Ms. Analu

Wow! What a busy weekend you had Sam! I think your father should get next weekend off so he can sit on the sofa and watch football and rest. Maybe you could fetch him things like the remote control and snacks and stuff while he rests...

Hi Sam!! I was glad to read your Blog! You had a busy weekend. I'll bet the clay dish is beautiful! Be careful on your Bike! How is the pizzicato going on your violin?

Last week I saw a Bobcat walking down the path by the Interpretive Center while I was working there. It was beautiful. I sent a picture to your dad. Did you see it?

I'll check the Blog every week and write notes to you from California!
Say "Hi" to Ben. Thank you for sending this to me!
