Wow! What a great day we had celebrating differences and similarities between the students in our class and school. Our kids looked so beautiful dressed in their traditional clothes or in clothes that represented their home countries, or countries they have visited and loved. Our Primary Assembly was incredible showing the message of peace and respect for all races and cultures. We sang songs and I had teary eyes the entire time. We then came back to our classroom and watched a couple of movies about two of our neighboring countries and then... we traveled around the world. Holding tight to our passports, we visited several countries and ate some of the most amazing food. Our Moms stamped our passports and we tried different flavors. It was incredible to see how our kids enjoyed trying new things. They ate so much!! It was wonderful!We would like to thank all the parents that sent in the delicious food and a very big THANKS to the Moms that helped us throughout our International Lunch. Thank you!!
